N scale layout ICG Sparta District

Sorry for not being more in depth but I'm modeling in N scale.I have a space of 24 by 36 feet and will have a 3 level layout with around 475 feet of mainline without Staging,with staging it would be around 530 feet.Also will be trying to have my coal mine and my power plant have actual operating coal loader and a operating rotary dumper so lets see what happens.

The start of the ICG Sparta District

Here is another part of the area I have ruffed in.This is of Captain mine it was served by the ICG and the Missouri Pacific at the time period I'm modeling.It is 27 feet long and is able to handle a 40 car coal train without splitting it into.I also been working on some of my locomotive fleet as well I'm going with the Orange and gray paint scheme when I have more time I will post some picture of them.Soon I will post some pictures of the benchwork that I have done as well.Hope you enjoy.

The start of the ICG Sparta District

Well this is all new to me so bare with me . I'm Modeling the Illinois Central Gulf Sparta District( former Gulf Mobile and Ohio) from Burksville,Illinois to Ava,Illinois from 1978-1983 or as I remember it.The first photo is a ruff in of Ava,Illinois from the north end.The siding is a little over 15 foot long and capable of holding a 40 cars plus 3 6 axle units and a caboose. The second photo is of the south end.
